字面上看起來就是讓球滾動，實際上應該解釋為該準備做事了或者是進行某項工作。

範例:
A: Our new house is a mess. Let’s clean it up.

B: Sure, let’  s get the ball rolling.

A: 我們的房子真是一團遭呀. 我們來清理一下吧.
B: 好, 咱們來幹活吧!!
